Children and Youth Programming
Infant - Pre KChildren from infants through pre-K will be cared for and led in games and activities in our SWUUSI nursery.
Kindgergarten - 2nd Grade
Recipe for fun: Each day measure out these ingredients: 1 Spirit Play story, 2 or 3 songs, 4 or 5 animals at a nature center, a dozen or more 5-8 year olds. Mix together with fun loving adults and let ingredients mingle and simmer for a week at SWUUSI as we learn and play together. Yield: Happy campers!
Grades 3-6
HARRY POTTER CAMP: This year the theme of the camp is UU values. We will be exploring values we think are most important in our lives and in the world around us. We will still have our old favorites of quidditch, Potions, Honeydukes, and Muggle Studies. This year we will be adding a Care of Magical Creatures class at the Nature Center. Middle School
Students in grades 7 & 8 at SWUUSI will enjoy projects, games, challenges and onsite adventures in the mornings, and learn UU values from The Gospel According to the Simpsons in the afternoon.
High School
Karma is a funny thing....Based on the television series My Name is Earl, high school students will have fun watching Earl and Randy Hickey get into all kinds of trouble while the Youth get in touch with what matters most in this crazy thing we call life.
