Director of Religious Education for Children and Youth

First Unitarian Congregation of Waterloo is a liberal religious community serving the Waterlooregion. We recently celebrated our 50th anniversary and, in December 2007, moved to a new location in Kitchener. We seek a part time Director of Religious Education (DRE) for children and youth who will work in collaboration with the Minister and Children's Religious Education committee to ensure that First Unitarian provides excellent programs for children and youth.http://waterloo.unitarians.ca/

We are looking for someone with a passion for learning and helping children and youth explore life's big questions. The person we seek is not necessarily a Unitarian Universalist, but must be in sympathy with our values and willing to learn more about our denomination. The DRE will have the opportunity to work with a vital community of children, youth and their families in a growing congregation.

The position averages 15 hours per week. The salary is $18 per hour.
