The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville (Arkansas) is looking for a new Music Director to lead our music program. We seek an open-minded, well-rounded musician with a diverse musical background – from classical to contemporary. This individual should be proficient in piano, teach and inspire a choir, and work with the minister in planning and conducting worship service. 10 hours per week and a salary range of $6,000-7,000 per year. Northwoods UU Church Seeks To Fill the Position of Lifespan Faith Development Director
 
Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church in The Woodlands, TX is currently hiring a Lifespan Faith Development Director. This person works closely with the minister in order to provide quality opportunities for Unitarian Universalist identity and faith formation, and spiritual deepening for all generations of the church. This is a full-time, exempt position with work hours that include Sundays and some evenings. The LFDD reports to the minister.
 
Ideally, the candidate for the position will have experience and training in leadership, as well as an ability to identify and train others as leaders. Familiarity and comfort with liberal religion, biblical stories, stories and teachings of other world faiths, and folk stories is essential. Experience with thematic or lectionary-based worship is encouraged. The ideal candidate will have some background in education and skill in teaching. Other helpful background includes program development and spiritual direction.
 
The salary range for this position begins at $35,000 and increases based on skills and experience.

The Mountain Retreat & Learning Center - Seeking Interim Director
An INTERIM DIRECTOR for THE MOUNTAIN Retreat and Leaning Center in Highlands, NC, is being sought for a two-year term to begin in March 2013.  The Mountain is a place special to many Unitarian Universalists since its founding in 1979 (home to Leadership Experiences and Leadership Schools for UU congregation leaders, Mountain Camps and CONs for youth, RE Weeks, SEUUMA weeks, gatherings of the UU Musicians Network and other events for UU professionals, and a place of retreat for many!). It is in an exciting period of transition and redefinition and is reaching out to old friends and inviting new ones to join its journey of discovery and possibility.  The current Interim Director has laid a solid foundation of relationship-building and organization and will work with the next Interim Director to facilitate continued leadership and solid management for The Mountain.
Successful candidates for the Interim Director position will have experience and knowledge in financial management and fundraising; program development and delivery; hospitality and youth camp management; physical plant maintenance; leadership and management of staff and volunteers; and Unitarian Universalist values and connections.  Applications will be received through August 31, 2012.
