The Lifespan Faith Development department of the Unitarian Universalist Association is seeking authors for two youth programs.

"Building Bridges" will provide a forum for youth to engage with world religions. With activities ranging from participating in interfaith community service projects, to visiting houses of faith, to studying holy texts, participants will increase their religious literacy and come to a greater understanding of Unitarian Universalism's capacity to embrace theological diversity. This is a year long program.

"Virtue Ethics in Today's World" will provide youth an opportunity to appreciate themselves as moral decision makers and ethical agents for change amidst discussions of decision making in everyday life. What effect does character have on important life decisions? How does our Unitarian Universalist faith sustain us in the world when hard choices must be made? This is a year long program.

We are looking for applicants with strong writing skills, experience working with youth, and a firm grounding in Unitarian Universalism. Applicants for "Building Bridges" also need an in-depth knowledge of world religions. Writing is paid and will begin this spring.
